A Friend
The first time i heard of Dixon was in sec3 through Alene, who sat beside me in class and the first time when i saw him was at the 3/8 bbq at this park near Gavin's house. As usual, Alene was being her sotong-self that day, kicking soccer balls with unknown guys wearing a mini skirt and slippers, hence skinning her toe. Aye. Anxious and upset Dixon came down with his friends and i nearly got the chance to witness my first ever gang fight. A last minute decision to stayover at Alene's house aft the bbq led to me speaking to Dixon over the phone while Alene plastered her toe. And i still rmb chiding Alene with Dixon for wanting to shorten her alrdy very very very short skirt. No idea why, but i rmb all these very well.June 7, Sunday. I forgot what i was doing on that day. And i'm ashamed of myself that it took me so long to find out. I hope he's in a better place. Take care and be strong, Alene.
